The system will never die!

http://www.famitsu.com/game/news/1212848_1124.html

BD is getting a re-print, allegedly exclusively distributed through a single store in Akihabara (Messe Sano, 1/17/08/). But considering the only people who would want to buy that game all probably hang out there anyway, it's a good idea. The price is a bit steep (7140円 ~ $63.60), but then again those same guys are accustomed to spending over $100 on limited editions and stuff. Hardcore game nerds unite!

It will go on sale along side a Border Down Soundtrack soundtrack CD (2625円 ~ $23.38/).

Well isn't this just a surprise...

The first run sold out, I wonder where these extra GD-Roms are coming from.

Well, you could spin this two ways.

1) The rumors of the end of GD-ROM production were so much internet BS.

2) <conspiracy_theory>G.Rev produced a ton of the game back in the day, and horded a load for a "rainy day." This print run is probably going to fund development of Senko no Ronde 2.</conspiracy_theory>
