Not that I'm complaining, but the choice of the clock is a little random...

I went ahead and purchased the DVD from my friend since he was letting it part for a pretty decent price for me. I haven't had a chance to watch it, but I'm sure I will soon.

The 2/28 blog entry mentioned that the version submitted has passed MS QA testing. I guess this means "Raiden Fighters Aces Has Gone Gold," or something.

March 27th release date... I've e-mailed UFO interactive to find out of if they have any interest bringing the game stateside. I know they stated they were considering Xbox 360 publishing a few months back, but haven't heard anything since. I wonder how viable they would consider a project like this one...

I'm not too optimistic about seeing this one at retail. Wartech, for all intents and purposes, was a failed experiment for Ubisoft. It'd be a sure thing on XBLA, but I don't see a physical shooting game disc getting released over here, unless again, they can bargain-bin price it. I don't know how receptive Success would be to that though.

Yeah... I do agree. But then again, Raiden 3 was first released at $29.99 before being bargain binned.

That was actually the number I was thinking of. Isn't $29.99 the "bargain" price for next-gen software?

Yeah. Usually the bargain window for next gen is between $29-39.

Just a quick heads-up, the RFA demo was just re-listed on Major Nelson's blog today (3/25/08/). I assume this means the demo is finally available to silver members. I can't confirm right now, but I'll check it out after work later today.

EDIT: Confirmed available for silver users.
